ŽABORIĆ

Žaborić is a Dalmatian, coastal village located next to the main road 10 kilometers south of the historic town of Sibenik, one of the favorite tourist destinations in the county.

The town is known for its well-kept natural sand and pebble beaches, and its crystal clear sea, which each year attracts more and more domestic and foreign tourists, especially those seeking a quiet vacation. Along the beautiful coast of Žaborić is built a long promenade, which offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the sunsets and pleasant evening walks.

This former small town has become one of the biggest tourist resorts in this area.

Olive groves and vineyards located near Žaborić confirm that the population, in addition to tourism, and also occupied with agriculture, fisheries which makes an important economic branch of Žaborić. It all points the fact that this area is extremely rich with its fine selection of food but also irresistible autochthonous gourmet products.

As part of its rich tourist offer locals from Žaborić every year in the month of July traditionally organise well known ‘Žaborička fešta’ – local party.

Fans of sport can enjoy a number of activities provided not only by place but also a surroundings with beautiful landscape and extremely rugged coastline with exotic archipelago and its enchanting underwater world.
